Archie Goodwin scored a season-high 24 points and led the Phoenix Suns to a 98–95 victory over the Atlanta Hawks with a last-second shot.

Goodwin controlled the ball at the top of the key as time wound down in a 95–95 game, rose up and hit a jumper over Kent Bazemore to get the win with 0.1 seconds remaining.

The three-pointer capped a wild sequence with 1:15 left in the game.

With Phoenix leading 93–90, Goodwin was able to get a chasedown block of a Kent Bazemore dunk attempt. Atlanta’s Kyle Korver managed to grab the rebound while falling down, but passed it back to Devin Booker from the Suns around midcourt. The rookie guard proceeded to miss a layup attempt on the other end, which was defended well by Al Horford.

Suns center Tyson Chandler grabbed the rebound and found a cutting Goodwin who also missed the point-blank shot. Atlanta immediately took advantage, grabbing the rebound and starting a fast break with Dennis Schroder eventually finding Bazemore for a wide-open three to tie the game.
