Watch: Father and son get creative, get Stephen Curry’s autograph

Saturday January 30th, 2016

Two Philadelphia fans procured Stephen Curry’s autograph in most peculiar fashion on Friday.

A father-son duo of autograph seekers certainly proved their mettle as the Warriors headed to practice at the Wells Fargo Center ahead of Saturday’s tilt with the Sixers.

The fans stood on an overpass, were able to catch Curry, and used what appears to be some heavy-duty string to lower down clipboards to the arena tunnel entrance with a jersey and ... hey, an SI cover.

Warriors a favorite to reach NBA Finals in SI’s second-half predictions

The always-gracious MVP took the time to reward their efforts, signing both and sending them back up. It’s a pretty nice moment, and Curry even films it on his phone and engages in a little banter. That kid (wearing an Eagles hat) is going to remember this.

Take notes, Curry fans. You never know.
