San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili will be out at least four weeks after undergoing testicular surgery, the team announced.

Ginobili suffered the injury after taking a knee to the groin from forward Ryan Anderson in Wednesday night’s 110–97 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans. Anderson was charged with an offensive foul.

Team trainers assisted Ginobili into the team’s locker room and he exited the game.

Ginobili is averaging 10.0 points, 3.3 assists and 3.0 rebounds on the year. The Spurs have been without forward Tim Duncan in the last five games but have still won three of their last five games.

The Spurs are 41–8 on the year for second place behind the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference.
