Rasheed Wallace drives truck with cases of water to Flint, Michigan
Former NBA star Rasheed Wallace drove a truck filled with cases of water from North Carolina to Flint, Michigan on Thursday night, according to UNC's basketball program.
Wallace played for the Tarheels from 1993 to 1995 before being selected with the No. 4 overall pick in the 1995 NBA draft.
Wallace is one of many stars donating and assisting the federal state of emergency with the water conditions in Flint. The contaminated water has been linked to residents who have suffered permanent brain damage as well as 10 victims who have died from Legionnaire's disease.

Earlier in the week Detroit Lions defensive end Ezekiel Ansah pledged 94,000 bottles of water. Other members of the Detroit Lions who have issued aid are Haloti Ngata, Darryl Tapp, Gabe Wright, Jason Jones and Joique Bell.
Detroit Pistons players and executives have rallied behind owner Tom Gores’s efforts, pledging a total of $500,000 to the FlintNOW campaign on Thursday.
President Obama visited Detroit to address several Michigan issues including the water crisis earlier in the week.
