NBA announces Three-Point Contest, Skills Challenge contestants
Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry will return to defend his Three-Point Contest title, while the Taco Bell Skills Challenge field will see a major change this All-Star Weekend, the NBA announced on Thursday.
Curry is joined in the three-point contest field by teammate Klay Thompson, along with Hoston Rockets guard James Harden, Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh, Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry, Los Angeles Clippers guard J.J. Reddick, Milwaukee Bucks guard Khris Middleton and Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker.
Curry currently leads the NBA in three-pointers made (232).

The skills challenge, which has historically only included guards, will add a few big men to the mix this year.

Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins, New Orleans Pelicans center Anthony Davis, Warriors forward Draymond Green and Minnesota Timberwolves forward Karl-Anthony Towns will represent the post players in the challenge. They will be joined by Rockets guard Patrick Beverley—last year’s winner—Portland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum, Boston Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas and Los Angeles Lakers guard Jordan Clarkson.
The skills challenge will start at 8 p.m. ET on TNT on Feb. 13. The three-point contest will follow, with the dunk contest finishing off the night.
