Hassan Whiteside has been suspended one game for elbowing Boban Marjanovic on Tuesday night.

Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside has been suspended for one game by the NBA for elbowing Spurs center Boban Marjanovic in the head Tuesday night.

The incident occurred in the fourth quarter of the Spurs 119–101 victory over the Heat. Whiteside was given a flagrant two foul and ejected from the game. He will miss the Heat’s first game after the All-Star break, a Feb. 19 contest against the Atlanta Hawks.

Whiteside is averaging 12.2 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 3.9 blocks this season.

Whiteside did not address the media after his ejection. It was Whiteside's first ejection of the year and third since joining the Heat.
