The Washington Wizards will sign free-agent forward J.J. Hickson, reports The Vertical’s Shams Charania.

Hickson has played in 20 games so far this season for the Denver Nuggets, who waived him earlier this month. In just over 15 minutes per game, Hickson has averaged 6.9 points and 4.4 rebounds.

The Wizards have been tweaking their roster since the trade deadline, acquiring Markieff Morris from Phoenix and now adding Hickson to their frontcourt as well. Washington is currently 10th in the Eastern Conference at 25–29.
