Philadelphia 76ers forward Robert Covington exited Friday night’s game against the Brooklyn Nets on a stretcher after being kicked in the face.

The incident happened in the third quarter as teammate Jerami Grant came down after trying to block a shot.

Covington raised his arm and pointed up with one finger as he left the court, according to Michael Gallagher of NBC Sports.

Grant was being checked for a concussion. The Sixers announced that Covington was transferred to a hospital for treatment on a possible neck injury.

Philadelphia defeated Brooklyn 95–89 to snap its 13-game losing streak. The Sixers are 9–56 while the Nets fell to 18–47.

Covington finished with 12 points in 17 minutes while Grant scored seven off the bench.
