Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin isn’t expected to return until “sometime in April,” reports Ken Berger of CBS Sports.

Griffin has not played since Christmas Day, when he sustained a quad injury against the Lakers. Griffin also broke his right hand in late January after punching a Clippers staffer, but it is currently the quad injury keeping him out of the lineup.

Los Angeles first found success without Griffin, but the Clippers have lost of four of their last six games. Overall, the team is 25–11 without its star forward.

The Clippers currently hold a 3 1/2 game lead over Memphis for fourth place in the Western Conference. Griffin is averaging 23.2 points and 8.7 rebounds per game this season.
