Report: Mavs’ Chandler Parsons likely to undergo season-ending surgery

Parsons did not play against the Trailblazers on Sunday with what was thought to be a right hamstring injury.

Dallas Mavericks starting small forward Chandler Parsons will likely undergo season-ending surgery on a torn meniscus in his right knee, ESPN’s Tim MacMahon reports.

Parsons did not play against the Trailblazers on Sunday with what was thought to be a right hamstring injury.

Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle told reporters at the time he did not think the injury was serious enough to sideline Parsons for an extended time, according to the Dallas Morning News.

Parsons, 27, is averaging 13.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game this season.
