MIAMI (AP) The Miami Heat signed guard Briante Weber on Sunday, one of the two moves the team planned on making to take a full roster of 15 into the NBA playoffs.

Weber was with Miami briefly during the preseason, and appeared in six games last month for Memphis. His most recent stop was with Sioux Falls, Miami's affiliate in the NBA Development League.

Weber played in six games with Memphis, starting four of them and averaging 4.8 points and 3.3 assists.

His signing gives Miami 14 players, with the final roster-filling move expected to be signing free agent and former Heat player Dorell Wright on Monday.
