Driven by yet another remarkable performance from Stephen Curry, Golden State beat San Antonio 92–86 on Sunday for its record-tying 72nd win. The Warriors can surpass the 1995–96 Chicago Bulls and complete the single greatest regular-season in NBA history with a win at home on Wednesday against Memphis.

Golden State became the first team to win in San Antonio all season, ending the Spurs’ record 39-game winning streak at the AT&T Center. The Warriors also won their first game in San Antonio since 1997.
What started as a defensive battle, heading into halftime tied at 35, finished with a flurry of offense. Curry shined in the fourth with his defense, ball distribution and interior scoring to finish with 37 points.

LaMarcus Aldridge led the Spurs with 24 points, knocking down jumper after jumper down the stretch. Kawhi Leonard added 20 with 13 rebounds for San Antonio.
