Celtics guard Avery Bradley left the fourth quarter of Saturday’s 102–101 Game 1 loss against the Hawks with a strained right hamstring and did not return.

Midway through the fourth quarter, Bradley was injured while contesting a Jeff Teague layup attempt and running back on offense. He started to limp to the sideline, but fell down in pain and had to be helped off. He could not put weight on his right leg.

Celtics coach Brad Stevens addressed the injury after the game, saying “No update. I saw Avery. He’s very, very sore. He said on the court that he heard a pop.”

Bradley scored 18 points on 7-of-16 shooting in 33 minutes before exiting.
