Thunder guard Russell Westbrook has been fined $25,000 by the NBA for “directing inappropriate language toward a fan” during the team’s Game 4 win over the Mavericks, the league announced Sunday.

Thunder guard Russell Westbrook has been fined $25,000 by the NBA for “directing inappropriate language toward a fan” during the team’s Game 4 win over the Mavericks, the league announced Sunday.

Westbrook was seen cursing at a fan late in the third quarter of Saturday’s game.

Westbrook’s teammate, Kevin Durant, was also fined by the league for his flagrant foul late in the fourth quarter.
