The Cavaliers set an NBA record with 25 three-pointers on Wednesday evening against Atlanta in a 123–98 Game 2 win, breaking the previous mark of 23 held by by the Rockets and Magic.
Cleveland’s hot shooting continued with an unstoppable barrage from deep, led by J.R. Smith, who finished with 23 points on 7-of-13 shooting from distance.
The record was set by Dahantay Jones late in the fourth, who hit the team’s 24th three-pointer, and then padded by Mo Williams moments later.

The beatdown was so vicious that the Hawks Crying Mike’d themselves at the half.
Cleveland took Game One of the series on Monday, and now leads 2–0.
