Toronto Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas will miss the rest of the series against the Miami Heat with a sprained ankle, the team announced Sunday.
Valaciunas left Toronto’s 95–1 Game 3 win on Saturday and did not return after rolling his right ankle in the third quarter. He had 16 points and 12 rebounds before exiting the game.
A precautionary X-ray on the ankle came back negative.
Valaciunas has been one of the top weapons for the Raptors this playoffs, averaging 15.0 points and 12.1 rebounds.
Heat center Hassan Whiteside is also out after suffering a sprained right MCL on Saturday. The Raptors hold a 2–1 lead in the series.
