Stephen Curry responded Friday to comments LeBron James made about the MVP award.

Earlier this week, Curry was awarded his second straight MVP, and became the first unanimous winner of the honor in NBA history. James, himself a four-time MVP, commented on Steph’s win earlier this week.

“You look at Steph’s numbers, I mean, he averaged 30 [points], he led the league in steals, he was 90, 50, 40, and [the Warriors] won 73 wins,” James said. “I don’t think you really have any debate over that, really, when it comes to that award.”

What James did say was up for debate was how to define the term most valuable. Curry bluntly responded to James’s comments Friday.

“I’ve gotten really good at ignoring people,” Curry said. “That’s been the theme for the last two years.”

The Cavaliers entered Friday awaiting their opponent in the Eastern Conference finals. The Warriors will face the Thunder in the West finals beginning Monday.
