Mamadou Ndiaye, UC Irvine’s 7'6" center, will not withdraw from the upcoming NBA draft, he told ESPN’s Jeff Goodman.
Ndiaye, who had one year of college eligibility remaining, was tied with UCF’s Tacko Fall as the tallest player in the NCAA last season.
Ndiaye averaged 12.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game last season. The 22-year-old was born in Senegal and attended high school in Southern California.
Wednesday is the deadline for underclassmen to withdraw from the draft and return to school.
