The Toronto Raptors and head coach Dwane Casey have agreed to a contract extension, reports The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The extension is for three years and $18 million, according to the report.

Casey, 59, has been the head coach of the Raptors since 2011. Under his tutelage, the Raptors had their best season in franchise history during the 2015–16 campaign. They posted 56 wins in the regular season and made an appearance in the Eastern Conference Finals, where they lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers in six games.

Before his tenure in Toronto, Casey spent two seasons as the head coach of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
