TNT announcer Craig Sager received a standing ovation during a timeout in the fourth quarter of NBA Finals Game 6 at Quicken Loans Arena.
Sager, who has been battling Leukemia, joined the ESPN broadcast team to report at the first NBA Finals game of his career.
The 64-year-old was originally diagnosed with Leukemia in April 2014 and missed the end of the 2014–15 season when the disease returned in March 2015.
During the game, Sager interviewed Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue, who expressed joy in seeing the longtime sideline reporter.
Game 7 is Sunday night at 8 ET in Oakland, Calif.
