The Warriors, Spurs and Thunder are the first three teams to set meetings with free agent forward Kevin Durant this summer, ESPN’s Marc Stein reports.

The 27-year-old Durant, who has spent his entire nine-year career with the Thunder, is the most coveted player available this off-season. There is a laundry list of teams, including Boston, Washington and New York, that are hoping to land a meeting with him.

According to Stein, Golden State believes its chances of landing Durant were “enhanced significantly” after the team’s NBA Finals loss.

After the Knicks acquired guard Derrick Rose in a trade with the Bulls, team president Phil Jackson reportedly told Rose that the team would make a push for Durant.

Durant, who as recently as last week was reported to be leaning toward re-signing with the Thunder, can begin to meet with teams when free agency begins on July 1. Those meetings will take place in Los Angeles.

The seven-time All Star has averaged 27.4 points per game over his professional career, and was named the league’s MVP following the 2013–14 season.
