The Rockets have agreed to a four-year, $53 million deal with free-agent shooting guard Eric Gordon, The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

Gordon becomes the second player to sign with Houston on Saturday, after the Rockets secured Ryan Anderson for the next four-years on an $80 million deal.

The oft-injured 27-year-old averaged 15.2 points and 2.7 assists in 45 games for the Pelicans last season, and will likely back up James Harden.

The Knicks were also reportedly interested in Gordon, but instead reached an agreement with Courtney Lee on a four-year, $48 million deal.
