LOS ANGELES (AP) Los Angeles Clippers guard C.J. Wilcox will have surgery to repair a broken right hand on Friday.

He was injured in the first quarter of the team's opening game in the Orlando Pro Summer League last Saturday.

The team said Wednesday that Wilcox is expected to return to basketball activities in four to six weeks.

He averaged 2.5 points in 23 games for the Clippers last season, his second with the franchise.
