Heat’s Josh Richardson suffers partially torn MCL, out 6–8 weeks

Miami Heat guard Josh Richardson suffered a partially torn MCL, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.
Richardson said on Saturday at a 790 The Ticket event that his rehab will keep him out 6–8 weeks, The Miami Herald’s Ethan Skolnick reports.
The guard is coming off a rookie season in which he averaged 6.6 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.

Richardson was expected to see an increase in playing time behind Dion Waiters at shooting guard.
