The Sixers and recording artist Sevyn Streeter have made amends, and the singer will return to sing the national anthem in her ‘We Matter’ jersey.

Philadelphia announced the news on Saturday. Streeter was originally denied the opportunity to sing on opening night over the political statement on her clothing. She will return to sing and also assist the organization with efforts in the community, and the Sixers will donate and partner with the Boys and Girls Club of Philadelphia.

“After a meaningful dialogue with the 76ers organization, I have accepted their apology,” Streeter said in a statement. “In order to move forward, it was important to me that we take action and use this as an opportunity to create positive change and dialogue throughout the community.”

Streeter will return to sing before the Dec. 16 game against the Lakers.
