Mavericks center Andrew Bogut played some defense after the whistle on Sunday night, drawing an offensive foul against Pelicans forward Anthony Davis then preventing him from stepping over his legs.

Davis delivered a strong forearm to Bogut’s chest to knock the bigman to the ground and pick up a foul. Afterward, he appeared to try and walk over Bogut and toward an official. That act of disrespect wasn’t going to happen on Bogut’s watch.

They traded small bats with their hands then walked to their respective benches as the game went to a break.

Don’t mess with Andrew Bogut.
