Report: Warriors fear Kevin Durant suffered serious knee injury
Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant hyperextended his left knee in Tuesday night's game against the Washington Warriors and will undergo an MRI, the team announced.
The injury occurred when Washington center Marcin Gortat went for a rebound and pushed Zaza Pachulia, who fell on Durant's leg in the first quarter of Washington's 112–108 victory.
ESPN.com reported Wednesday morning that Durant would most likely be back for the playoffs.

Durant walked off the court holding his knee and was assisted to the locker room.
Durant is averaging 25.8 points, 8.4 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game on the season.
In wake of the injury, the team will sign veteran forward Matt Barnes for the remainder of the season.
"It's a dream come true!" Barnes told The Undefeated. "I feel like I helped start something in '07, and now I'm coming back to help finish it."
Barnes, 36, began the season with the Sacramento Kings and was waived in a trade deadline move after team traded All-Star forward DeMarcus Cousins to the New Orleans Pelicans.
Barnes averaged 7.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 54 games this season.
