Nenê to miss rest of playoffs with groin injury
Monday May 8th, 2017

Houston Rockets forward Nene will miss the remainder of the playoffs with a left adductor tear, the team announced Monday.

The team's medical staff say they are exploring treatment options and that an update will be forthcoming once that decision is made.

Nene was injured during the first half of Game 4 of the Western Conference Playoffs between the Rockets and the San Antonio Spurs.

The best–of–seven series is tied a two games apiece after the Houston's 125–104 victory in Game 4. Game 5 is Tuesday in San Antonio.

Nene was averaging 10 points and 4.7 rebounds in the playoffs.
