LaVar Ball: Michael Jordan couldn’t sell $495 shoes because he’s not Lonzo

LaVar Ball reappeared on television this week to let everyone know that Michael Jordan couldn’t sell $495 (!) sneakers, which is a historical fact — but LaVar says it’s because MJ isn’t his son, Lonzo (which is also a fact, but a dubiously connected one).
Whoa!
The elder Ball went on Fox Sports 1’s Undisputed and told co-host Shannon Sharpe his reasoning as to why Jordan couldn’t sell shoes that were quite so expensive.
"Because he ain't Lonzo Ball, that's why," LaVar Ball said. "Did he have his own brand coming in? It's a new era called the Ball era."
For what it’s worth, you can’t have a Ball without some degree of inflation. As to whether it’s price inflation, or just self-inflation? Debatable.
@Lavarbigballer told you I gotcha dawg. I'm going to bust you up in Zo's kicks tho . 👌🏾 pic.twitter.com/YfA0vKsemL

It does say something that Shannon Sharpe is apparently a Big Baller, though.
