Boston Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas has been fined $25,000 for inappropriate language toward a fan during the Celtics’ Game 4 loss at Washington.

The NBA had “aware and reviewing” an interaction between Thomas and a Wizards fan during Thursday’s Game 3, a league spokesman confirmed to Boston.com.

Thomas was seen on video telling a heckler behind the Boston bench in Washington “I will f--- you up, and you know that.” The fan who captured the video said the heckler was going after Thomas all game long.

The Wizards won 116–89 and Thomas was held to just 13 points.

Game 5 is Wednesday night in Boston and the series returns to Washington for Game 6 on Friday. The series is tied at 2–2.
