Kawhi Leonard ruled out for Game 4 vs. Warriors

The Spurs will face elimination without Kawhi Leonard.

The San Antonio Spurs have ruled out forward Kawhi Leonard for Game 4 with the team on the brink of elimination in the Western Conference Finals against the Golden State Warriors.

Leonard has missed the last two games due to an ankle injury that he sustained in the series opener. In the third quarter of Game 1, Leonard re-aggrevated an ankle injury after landing on Warriors center Zaza Pachulia's foot. The injury was first sustained in Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Houston Rockets and Leonard missed Game 6 before the Spurs advanced.

The Warriors lead the series 3–0 and look to advance to their third consecutive NBA Finals.
