Houston Rockets NBA draft picks: 2017 round-by-round results, grades

Houston Rockets 2017 NBA draft picks, grades, recap, and analysis.

The Rockets made major progress this year, posting a 55-27 record and finishing third overall in the Western Conference standings. Superstar guard James Harden charted an MVP caliber year, averaging 29.1 PPG, 11.2 APG, and 8.1 RPG over the course of the season.

After a disappointing finish in the postseason, falling to the Spurs 4-2, the Rockets hope to acquire some talent in the draft that could bolster their high-powered offense and redeem their 2017 postseason woes.

Last year, the Rockets used their two second round picks to draft Louisville power forward Chinanu Onuaku and Zhou Qi, big man from China. Onuaku never made any serious contributions and Qi has yet to see the floor.

Here's the full list of picks the Rockets hold in the 2017 draft, which will be updated with the pick when it's made.
