There are only three games on the NBA slate tonight after a big 11-game slate last night. The Hawks and Nuggets are on the second night of back-to-back contests, but I'm not letting that scare me off of starting their players.
Here is an early look at some of my favorite potential plays on Yahoo:
C Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets ($48)
Stud Nuggets center Nikola Jokic may not be the highest-priced player on the Yahoo slate, but he is my top play of the night. I know Jokic struggled immensely in the first of his back-to-back games, but I still love him in a tough spot tonight. Dallas has guarded opposing centers well thus far, but the season is young and "Joker" will get his mojo back tonight.
SG / SF Jimmy Butler, Miami Heat ($33)
Butler makes his Miami Heat debut tonight. Miami has the highest implied team total on the night and I expect fantasy fireworks in what should be a very competitive game. Welcome back JB.
C Jaren Jackson Jr., Memphis Grizzlies ($28)
The Grizzlies second-year big man has exceeded his fantasy value in every game this season. He has a tough matchup tonight versus the Lakers' big men, but as long as he stays clear of foul trouble, his usage rate will make him a fantasy asset again tonight.

PF Brandon Clarke, Memphis Grizzlies ($18)
Rookie Brandon Clarke does not have the best matchup tonight against the Lakers, but the former Gonzaga Bulldog has the ability to stuff the stat sheet at a decent price.
C Bam Adebayo, Miami Heat ($21)
The Heat big man is a stat stuffer that already has a pair of double-doubles on the young season. He is a player who could very well breakout now that Hasan Whiteside has moved on to the Trail Blazers. Against Atlanta tonight, Adebayo has a favorable matchup versus a Hawks defense ranked 18th at defending opposing centers.
SG Kendrick Nunn, Miami Heat ($15)
Jimmy Butler returns to the Heat lineup tonight so Nunn will see his shot attempts go down. However, Nunn played well in extended minutes to start the season. He is a player that the league should take notice of considering he has scored at least 18 points in every game thus far. Even with Butler back, Nunn should be able to exceed his price tag.
