Bucks’ Khris Middleton to Miss Several Weeks With Left Thigh Contusion

After suffering a left thigh contusion on Sunday, Bucks swingman Khris Middleton is to miss several weeks.

Bucks All-Star forward Khris Middleton is expected to miss several weeks with a left thigh contusion. Middleton sustained the injury in the third quarter of Milwaukee's 121-119 win over the Thunder on Sunday.

The blow occurred when the Bucks' swingman tried to drive past the Thunder's Terrance Ferguson. Middleton left the game and did not return. He underwent an MRI on Monday that confirmed the injury as a thigh contusion. 

The Bucks enter Monday night third in the Eastern Conference after a 7–3 start to the season. Middleton has continued to be a consistent force for the Bucks, averaging 18.5 points and 5.7 rebounds per game while shooting 39% from three.

Milwaukee next plays on Thursday when it hosts the Bulls. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. ET.
