CEO David Levy Parts Ways With Nets and Barclays Center

CEO David Levy has mutually agreed to part ways with the Nets and Barclays Center, the team announced on Tuesday.

Levy's resignation comes less than two months after he accepted the position. He previously worked at Turner Broadcasting for 33 years before joining the Joseph Tsai-owned team.

"I want to thank David for his collaboration over the past several months and wish him well in his future endeavors," Oliver Weisberg, CEO of J Tsai Sports and NBA alternate governor of the Nets, said in a statement. "As we enter an exciting new chapter of our organization, it's important that ownership and management are completely aligned on our go forward plan."

The Nets hired Levy in mid-September after he left WarnerMedia in March. The team named Weisberg as interim CEO of the Nets and Barclays Center.

Brooklyn is currently 4–5 and sits in fourth place in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference.
