LeBron James to Release Children’s Book in 2024

This will be the Lakers star’s third children’s book.

Lakers star LeBron James is releasing his third children’s book on April 2, 2024, and this one will be titled I Am More Than.

The four-time NBA champion explained that this book will be a way to inspire the young generation to believe in themselves. The book is illustrated by Niña Mata, who also illustrated James’s first book I Promise.

“Coming to bookstores near you!!” James tweeted on Thursday. “I Am More Than! Our next book is about believing in yourself and all the amazing things you’re capable of, which NO ONE else can define for YOU. I hope ya'll feel inspired to be #MoreThan in this next one.”

James’s first book, I Promise, was released in 2020, followed by his second book We Are Family that published earlier this year in April.

The book announcement comes a week before the 2023–24 NBA season tips off. The Lakers start their season against the reigning NBA champions, the Nuggets, on Tuesday, Oct. 24.
