The Lakers suffered their fifth loss of the season on Wednesday night against the Rockets as Houston captured a whopping 128–94 win.

This means Los Angeles has yet to win an away game in its first five games on the road this season. All three of the team’s wins came at home.

The Lakers also became the first NBA team in history to reach two unfortunate marks regarding three-point attempts. Through each of the first eight games of the season, the Lakers have made fewer three pointers than their opponents and finished with a worse three-point percentage than their opponents, per ESPN Stats & Info. They are the first NBA team to have this happen in all eight games to open a season.

The Lakers currently rank 29th in the league in three-point percentage with 29.6% of attempts from beyond the arc made and 29th in made three-point baskets on average with nine per game.

On Wednesday night specifically, the Lakers made just seven-of-25 three-point attempts for a 28% completion rate.
