Ja Morant Announced His Return to the NBA With a Thrilling Game-Winning Buzzer Beater

Ja is back.

On Tuesday night, Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant made his return to NBA action. Morant had not yet played this season as he was serving a 25-game suspension handed down by NBA commissioner Adam Silver after Morant was seen on Instagram  holding a firearm for the second time.

Morant decided to announce his return to the league with a stunner against the Pelicans.

Morant finished the night with 34 points, six rebounds, and eight assists. His biggest play of the night came on the final play of the game.

With the game knotted at 113–113, Morant was dribbling out the clock to ensure the Grizzlies took the last shot of the game.

Morant drove the lane, spun, jumped, held in the air and dropped in the game-winning floater as the buzzer sounded.

Fans across the NBA—as well as LeBron James himself—applauded Morant for his superstar performance in his return to action.
