Warriors-Jazz Game Postponed After Assistant Coach Suffers Medical Emergency

Wednesday’s game between the Golden State Warriors and Utah Jazz is being postponed due to a “medical emergency in the Warriors family,” the NBA announced

The date for the rescheduled game will be announced at a later time.

An hour earlier, Golden State announced assistant coach Dejan Milojević was hospitalized after a medical emergency during a team dinner in Salt Lake City on Tuesday night. It’s unclear at this time what happened or what the coach’s status is. The team added it would provide an update on his status “as appropriate.”

Milojević, 46, joined the Warriors staff in 2021 and had several coaching stints overseas. As a player, he played for 15 years and had stops in Serbia, Spain, Montenegro and Turkey. Milojević is also close with fellow Serbian and Denver Nuggets star center Nikola Jokić, per ESPN.
