Kevin Durant Perfectly Handled Being Asked for Go-To Line When Sliding Into DMs

Only at All-Star weekend.

During his press conference Saturday ahead of the 2024 NBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis, Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant was asked to share his go-to line when “sliding into somebody’s DMs” on social media.

“Who gave this guy a mic?” Durant said while laughing. “Say that again?”

“If you’re trying to slide into someone’s DMs, what’s your line?” the reporter asked.

“‘Hi,’” Durant responded. “That’s it.”

Kevin Durant: “Who gave this guy a mic?”

Reporter: “You’re trying to slide into someone’s DM’s. What’s your line?”

KD: “Hi.” 😅

Durant will appear in his 14th NBA All-Star Game when the event tips off Sunday at 8 p.m. ET. 

He is set to start for the Western Conference along with LeBron James, Luka Dončić, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokić.
