Steph Curry Humorously Acknowledges Toilet Flush During All-Star Press Conference
After Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry beat New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu in a three-point shootout on Saturday night at All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis, it was business as usual—for the sharpshooters as they spoke to the media and someone answering nature’s call in the background.
While answering a question from a reporter during press availability in the Indianapolis Colts’ locker room at Lucas Oil Stadium, a loud toilet flush could be heard in the middle of Curry’s answer, and the point guard just rolled with it.
“To have it [the three-point competition] with the new floor, like 40,000 fans out here, and people using the bathroom,” Curry said. “All type of chaos around here.”
Reporters in attendance let out a collective laugh when the four-time champion showed his comedic side.
Winning the competition with Ionescu is just the latest accomplishment for Curry, who’s won the NBA Three-Point Contest twice and also boasts the most three-pointers in NBA history.
