Jamal Murray has ice in his veins.

The Denver Nuggets point guard struggled from the field throughout the night, but he stepped up in the biggest moment the game on Monday, draining the game-winning shot over Anthony Davis in order to sink the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 2, 101–99.

Murray's shot was not falling for much of the evening, but he didn't lack any confidence when the game was on the line. He stepped up at the buzzer and delivered a mid-range jumper while falling backwards, getting the shot up over Davis's outstretched arm.

The shot came one possession after Murray tied the game on another tough step-back jumper. The game-winner gave the Nuggets a 2–0 series lead over the Lakers, as Murray took care of business in a big way at Ball Arena in front of an electric home crowd.

The sports world was in disbelief at the enthralling conclusion of Game 2, and they had plenty to say about Murray's late takeover to help secure the victory.
