The Los Angeles Lakers are now a loss away from having their season come to an end after falling at home to the Denver Nuggets in Game 3 of their first round series, 112-105, on Thursday night.

The Lakers led at halfitme for a third straight game but were unable to hold off Nikola Jokic and the rest of the defending champions in the second half.

Denver now just needs a victory in Saturday night's Game 4 to sweep the Lakers out of the playoffs for a second straight year.

Charles Barkley had some fun roasting the Lakers during TNT's postgame show, and Kenny Smith didn't seem a fan of the move.

Check it out:

Barkley remains the best.
