Bucks Injury Report: Will Jrue Holiday Face 76ers on Friday?

In this story:
After facing the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night, the Milwaukee Bucks are set to pay the Philadelphia 76ers a visit on Friday.
For the Sixers, Friday’s game marks the first matchup for them in five days. Despite getting some rest and recovery time, the Sixers are still dealing with a handful of setbacks. James Harden remains out with a tendon strain. Furkan Korkmaz is out with a knee effusion, while Jaden Springer suffered a quad strain.
Meanwhile, Matisse Thybulle hasn’t practiced at all this week as he tweaked his ankle last weekend, and Tobias Harris is questionable with hip soreness on Friday.
The Sixers will inevitably enter Friday’s matchup against the Bucks shorthanded, but Milwaukee is dealing with its fair share of setbacks as well.
Who’s on the Injury Report for the Bucks?
Pat Connaughton
Dealing with a calf injury, Pat Connaughton remains out of the Bucks’ lineup. While the veteran did return to practice, he isn’t expected to make his season debut just yet. Therefore, the veteran is out for Friday’s game.
Grayson Allen
Allen’s missed two of the Bucks’ last three matchups due to an ankle injury. After sitting out of Milwaukee’s Wednesday night matchup, Allen is expected to make his return to the court to face the 76ers, as he’s listed as probable for Friday night.
Joe Ingles
Similar to Connaughton, Ingles remains out and will not be making his season debut against the Sixers on Friday night as he continues to rehab from ACL surgery.
Wesley Matthews
Up until Milwaukee’s Wednesday night matchup against Cleveland, Wesley Matthews played in every game this year. Unfortunately for the Bucks, his absent trend continues as he’s expected to miss the matchup against the Sixers on Friday due to a hamstring strain.
Khris Middleton
The absence of Middleton is significant for the Bucks, despite the success they’ve had so far this season. As the veteran sharpshooter continues to rehab from wrist surgery, he has yet to make his season debut. For the second time this year, the Sixers will face Milwaukee without Middleton on the floor.
Jrue Holiday
The last time the Sixers and the Hawks faced off, Milwaukee had Jrue Holiday in the starting lineup. The former 76er checked in for 35 minutes. Although he struggled by going just 2-15 from the field, Holiday’s shooting numbers have improved a lot since then, as he’s drained 47 percent of his field goals in the following nine games.
Holiday’s been battling an ankle injury, which has kept him off the court for the last four games. Friday’s matchup could make it five in a row, but the Bucks aren’t ready to rule out Holiday quite yet. Therefore, he is questionable before tip-off.
