It's been nearly a month since Doc Rivers was named the head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks, after the Eastern Conference contenders decided to part ways with Adrian Griffin, who had gotten them off to a strong 30-13 start to the season which was good enough to see them sit second in the standings.

It would be safe to say that Rivers' start to life in Milwaukee hasn't been the smoothest, as the 62-year-old has posted a 3-7 record, with their most recent loss coming at the hands of the Memphis Grizzlies right before All-Star break.

Following their loss to the Grizzlies, Rivers went on to attribute their struggles to the commitment of some of the players on the court.

"We had some guys here," said Rivers, "we had some guys in Cabo."

This explanation wasn't sufficient for former 76er and current ESPN analyst JJ Redick, who blasted Rivers for his lack of accountability on First Take.

"Doc, we get it, taking over a team in the middle of the season is hard, it's hard, we get it. Just like getting traded in the middle of the season is hard for a player, we get it." opened Redick, "But it's always an excuse, it's always throwing your team under the bus, they lose to Memphis, Oh it's his players, Memphis was playing G-League guys and two-way guys."

To point, Taylor Jenkins opted to use two of his two-way players, as Trey Jemison took to the court for 23 minutes, while Jacob Gilyard saw 15 minutes of game time.

Yet, it wasn't only Rivers' comments about his team's struggles against the Grizzlies that Redick took aim at, as he wasn't too pleased by the 62-year-old's comments over the weekend regarding his role in the James Harden trade earlier on in the season.

"Now he wants to take credit for the James Harden trade to the Clippers working out," said Redick, "He wants credit for that."

Redick ended his rant regarding Rivers stating that his former head coach fails to take accountability for his team.

"There's never accountability with that guy," explained Redick, "There's never accountability.
