The Philadelphia 76ers dealt with a couple of injury concerns over the past week. As the star guard James Harden battled Achilles soreness, he missed a handful of games. In addition, the center Joel Embiid missed some time as well while dealing with calf tightness.

Despite getting listed on the Sixers’ injury report as questionable for four-straight games, Embiid missed just one matchup during that stretch.

When the Sixers hosted the Toronto Raptors on Friday night, Embiid was left off the injury report for the first time in a few games. The big man appeared on the court for 33 minutes in the victory over the Raptors. During that time, he scored 25 points while producing 12 rebounds, one assist, and one block.

Embiid made it out of Friday’s game without any setbacks. And as the Sixers head into their Friday night matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks, the big man avoided the injury report for the second-straight game.

Barring any unexpected setbacks, Embiid will be good to compete in Sunday night’s game against the Bucks. In the Sixers’ previous three matchups against the Bucks this year, Embiid appeared in every game, spending around 37 minutes on the floor.

During those matchups, the big man averaged 26 points, ten rebounds, seven assists, and one block. With his contributions, the Sixers managed to put the Bucks away in two of three matchups. On Sunday night, they’ll look to take the regular season series for the first time since 2008-2009.
