The Milwaukee Bucks have come out strong after the All-Star break, chalking up back-to-back wins behind a strong defensive effort and a more fluid offense. The Bucks will have a chance to build their longest winning streak under coach Doc Rivers when they take on the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday.

Milwaukee is in a great position to keep its mini streak going as it has been dominant against Charlotte this season, winning their first two meetings by an average winning margin of 33.5 points. The Bucks demolished the Hornets in their first meeting on November 17th, 130-99, and also easily won in their second encounter on February 9th, 120-84.

Milwaukee and Charlotte will be playing against each other twice in three days as they will also meet on Thursday in the Hornets' home court.

A battle of streaking teams

Scoring successive wins since the All-Star break against the Minnesota Timberwolves (112-107) and the Philadelphia 76ers (119-98), the Bucks have gone 5-7 under Rivers and are currently third in the Eastern Conference with a 37-21 record. The Hornets are 13th in the East with a 15-42 card.

Just like Milwaukee, Charlotte has been playing solidly as of late, winning five of its last six games. The Hornets are coming off a 93-80 win over the Portland Blazers.

The Bucks are 5-5 in the last ten games, averaging 111.8 points, 42.7 rebounds, 27.9 assists, 8.7 steals and 4.6 blocks per game. The Hornets are also 5-5 in the last ten matches, averaging 105.8 points, 42.4 rebounds, 24.5 assists, 7.9 steals, and 3.6 blocks per outing.
