A non-profit group got thousands of diapers after Giannis’ 54-point explosion versus the Los Angeles Clippers last week

Giannis Antetokounmpo-backed group benefits from Greek Freak’s 54-point explosion versus the Los Angeles Clippers.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had a masterful performance on Thursday night when he scored a whopping 54 points to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a cardiac 106-105 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Dominant Giannis

The Bucks trailed by as many as 21 points in that game, but Antetokounmpo scored 20 of his total output in the fourth, allowing the Bucks to escape with the amazing win.

The victory became more special when Antetokounmpo's stellar outing prompted a restaurant to donate some goods to a non-profit organization that Giannis supports.

Charitable cause

So, how did Antetokounmpo's 54-point outing become a humanitarian thing? It has been a tradition for people to ask Antetokounmpo what he would do after a 50-point performance.

It can be recalled that the Greek Freak went to Chick-Fil-A and ordered 50 "chicken minis" after scoring a heroic 50 points in Game 6 of the 2021 NBA Finals.

Giannis was asked the same question again after pouring 54 on the Clippers in that come-from-behind.

"Tomorrow, I think I'm going to go to Culver's. I'll go get 50 cheeseburgers and try to eat as many as I can. The rest, I'll have my son eat them, or I will give them to my dog," Giannis said.

Culver's took notice of Giannis' remarks, and in an incredible gesture, it decided to donate 54,000 diapers to the Milwaukee Diaper Mission, a group that has a partnership with Antetokounmpo and his partner, Mariah Riddlesprigger.

According to its website, Milwaukee Diaper Mission is a non-profit organization that empowers families in need by providing a reliable source of free diapers and period supplies.

The result of Antetokounmpo's humongous game was certainly heartwarming, and it wouldn't be a surprise if more people started taking notice and looking forward to seeing him put up even more 50-point games.
