Mike Budenholzer reports it was a good day at practice for the Milwaukee Bucks

In this story:
The Milwaukee Bucks are making the most out of the remaining days they have left before they begin their quest for another NBA title in the NBA Playoffs. With Game 1 of the first round beginning on Sunday, the Bucks had another practice on Thursday, and coach Mike Budenholzer reports everything went well during the session.
Khris Middleton participated fully in practice
All-Star swingman Khris Middleton participated in all sections of practice on Thursday, signaling that no issues with his right knee kept him from working. This is great news for Bucks fans because Middleton’s health will be key to Milwaukee’s success in the postseason. He hasn’t played since exiting the game versus the Chicago Bulls last April 5th. He also missed over a month’s worth of games due to right knee soreness back in December 2022.
After today’s practice, Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer told reporters that Grayson Allen, Pat Connaughton and Khris Middleton were all full participants in practice today.

Allen and Brook Lopez said today was the most intense scrimmaging they’ve done since the All-Star Break.
In addition, Budenholzer added that Grayson Allen and Pat Connaughton participated in practice but were limited due to their sprained ankles. The two suffered the injuries toward the tail-end of the regular season and remain iffy for the start of the first round.
Health is paramount
Budenholzer commented that at this stage of the season, having a healthy team is most important.
“You want to be as healthy as you can,” Budenholzer said. “With all those guys, I think practicing is one of the steps and then seeing how you feel the next day and seeing how your body responds and everything is almost as important. It was a good day collectively. It was a good day for each of those guys. We’ll see how they respond, how they feel and continue to get ready for Sunday.”
