Getting veteran help
The report said a formal agreement could be reached when Dragic meets with Bucks officials on Friday. The 36-year-old Dragic cleared waivers Thursday. Dragic entered the free agency market after he and the Chicago Bulls agreed to have him waived this week.
The report added that Dragic had strongly considered signing with the Bucks a season ago before he eventually joined the Brooklyn Nets. Should he end up signing with the Bucks, the Slovenian player will provide a quality playmaker off the bench.
The 6-foot-4 guard became one of the league's best guards earlier in his career when he suited up for the Phoenix Suns, Houston Rockets, and Miami Heat. He was also a top backup playmaker when he played for the Toronto Raptors, Brooklyn Nets, and Chicago Bulls.
How sweet it is.

Filling a spot
Milwaukee needs another playmaker after losing George Hill in a multi-team deal that sent veteran forward Jae Crowder to the Bucks. Jevon Carter and Jrue Holiday are currently co-quarterbacking for the Bucks.
The 18-year veteran has career averages of 13.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 4.7 assists. He played for 51 games with the Bulls this season and was good for 6.4 points, 1.4 boards, and 2.7 assists.
Aside from the possibility of bringing in Dragic, the Bucks are making another move by signing Meyers Leonard to a second consecutive 10-day contract.
